About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to support our finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide inputs in the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecast.
•Manage fixed asset schedules (depreciation, additions & disposals).
•Maintain accruals, prepayments and other financial schedules.
•Post recurrent journals for prepayments and accruals.
•Perform periodic bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliation.
•Prepare monthly payroll, payroll analysis and manage staff loans.
•Ensure timely filing of statutory payments and taxes.
•Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
•Attend to internal and statutory audit requests.
•Conduct periodic GL reviews for accuracy and make necessary corrections.

Requirements

•BSc in Accounting, Finance or any relevant course
•ICAN/ACA is an added advantage
•3–5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance
•Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, payroll and statutory compliance
•Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
•High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
